Shop Policies/ Frequently Asked Questions

Abstract Color Gradient
  • All sales of products and/ or services are final.

  • Walk in readings are subject to 10 or 20 minutes time limits. After your time has concluded you may choose to upgrade to a longer reading if other customers are not waiting in line. If other customers are waiting you may always come back at a different time.

  • All customers have a 1 hour limit in our store front for readings and/ or shopping. Our shop front is small and we have run into issues where there is too much congestion. Also, other patrons have not been able to get a reading due to extended customer visits, or have had issues comfortably browsing the shop front.

  • When attending paid or free community events you cannot arrive more than 20 minutes before the scheduled time of the event. We typically offer 12 spots for group events and our store front can't accommodate a dozen people waiting. Customers are not able to shop comfortably when large groups of people arrive early for events held in our basement space. It's best to arrive a just a few minutes early.

  • If you late cancel/ no show for a free event (less than 24 hour notice) we reserve the right to not allow you to book for future free events. We ask that you cancel your ticket on event brite or get in touch with us via email or social media to let us know you won't be attending so we can open up the spot for someone else.

  • For group events held in our basement space all attendees must leave together as a group and a staff member will lead everyone up stairs to exit at the end of the event. We can't monitor the storefront and the group attendees at the same time, this is why everyone has to exit together as a group.

  • Shoplifting is not tolerated. We have it posted on our shopfront windows that we are protected by Ring surveillance cameras/ alarms and will review footage when merchandise is missing to locate the suspect.

FAQ:

  • Q: Are you hiring?

  • A: No we are not currently hiring. We do not have any future plans to hire other readers or service providers.

  • Q: Are you open to collaborations?

  • A: We are currently only seeking to collaborate with established business owners with their own brick and mortar store front at this time.

  • Q: Can you book private parties?

  • A: We are not currently offering private parties at this time.

  • Q: Can I hold and pet Francis (the shop dog)?

  • A: Francis is a small dog who can get afraid and over stimulated. Francis loves to say "hi" to visitors on his own terms. He does not respond well to being picked up or pet on the top of his head. We ask that you give him space to come approach you first and if he isn't scared he appreciates a scratch under the chin!

  • Q: What about during events or private readings?

  • A: When everyone is seated in the private reading room or in the basement Francis is more comfortable without the loud sounds of the street and the stress of the shop door opening and closing. He will generally come sit on your lap if he feels comfortable. Same with yoga, he might come lay on you during the practice. If you don't prefer this type of contact just gently move him off of you and he will usually move on to someone else.

  • Q: What if I don't like dogs?

  • A: Francis is a part of the crew and we completely understand if dogs are opposed to dogs! We generally ask if you would like to visit with him when you enter the shop, but he does not have to come say "hi". However just know if you attend a group event or private reading he will be roaming around.
